Activities During Your Stay
While we’ll of course be coming together to celebrate our wedding, this time in Umbria is very much a holiday and we want you to enjoy it in whatever way feels right for you.
Throughout the stay, there will be a range of optional activities and experiences you’re welcome to join, from food and wine tastings to local adventures and moments of pure relaxation. These are completely optional there is absolutely no expectation to take part in everything (or anything at all).
If you’d rather spend a day by the pool, head off exploring on your own, enjoy a long lunch, or simply do nothing at all, please do. It’s your holiday!
These activities are extras we’ve been able to arrange with the venue, and they’ll be available to join at an additional cost.
Above all, we just want you to relax, enjoy your time here, and soak up Italy in your own way.
PLEASE NOTE - Some activities are currently unavailable as we confirm times and suppliers. These will be available to book at the start of 2027!
Wednesday Activities

All activities must be booked in advance, no later than 6 weeks prior arrival day.
Try a selection of different classic street food in a market style set up in the beautiful garden overlooking the ancient Umbrian hills. Local Wine & Beer included.
For those who are not staying onsite at the venue.
Hire your very own E-Bike for your stay, a great way to explore the local scenery and breathtaking views of the hills of Umbria.
Hire is for the whole 5 day period.

Step into the countryside for a true Umbrian tradition and join us on a truffle hunting adventure. Guided by local experts and their specially trained dogs, we’ll wander through woodland paths in search of one of Italy’s most treasured ingredients.
It’s part nature walk, part local storytelling, and part thrill-of-the-find, followed, of course, by enjoying the fruits of the hunt. Earthy, seasonal, and wonderfully authentic, this is a chance to experience Umbria in a way few visitors ever do.

Join us for a relaxed wine tasting celebrating the flavours of Umbria. Set in the heart of the countryside, we’ll sample a selection of beautiful local wines while learning a little about the region, the grapes, and the stories behind each bottle.
Expect good wine, easy conversation, and that wonderful feeling of time slowing down, the perfect way to spend an afternoon together before drifting into dinner and sunset views.
No expertise required, just bring your curiosity and a love of a good glass of wine.

Join Martin & Lucy aboard a private boat on beautiful Lake Trasimeno as the sun begins to set. Drift across the water with a classic Italian aperitif in hand, watching the sky soften into golds and pinks as the day gently fades.

Take a moment to truly unwind with a relaxing 30-minute onsite massage, enjoyed in the peaceful surroundings of the Umbrian countryside. Designed to help you slow down, release tension, and fully switch into holiday mode, this is the perfect pause between long lunches, exploring, and celebrations.
For those who’d like a little extra indulgence, longer sessions are available on request.
A simple, restorative luxury, because you deserve it.

Join us for a relaxed guided walking tour through the local area, discovering the charm, history, and hidden corners of Umbria. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, this is an easy-paced stroll filled with stories, beautiful views, and a deeper sense of place.
The exact destination will be confirmed closer to the date, but wherever we go, expect something authentic, scenic, and well worth the walk.

Spend the day exploring Perugia with the Groom and soak up the energy of one of Umbria’s most vibrant hilltop cities. Expect wandering cobbled streets, espresso stops, local bites, historic sights, and plenty of time to take it all in at an easy, unhurried pace.
It’s a chance to experience Perugia like a local, relaxed, curious, and full of great company, with time to explore, chat, and enjoy wherever the day takes us.

Roll up your sleeves and dive into a true Umbrian classic with a hands-on torta al testo cooking class. Guided by local experts, you’ll learn how this beloved flatbread is made, simple ingredients, time-honoured techniques, and lots of tasting along the way.
